Gourmet Gift Baskets Store - Shipping/Returns Policy

 
Order Processing:
Orders are shipped Monday to Friday (Business Days Only) Processing times are as follows:
Orders received by 10am EST Monday-Friday (Business Days Only) are processed and shipped the same day.
Orders received after 10am EST, on weekends or holidays are processed and shipped the next business day. Christmas orders may require 1-2 extra processing days depending on volume. Shipping times vary based on destination.

Taxes are calculated based on where the gift is being delivered not based on where the sender lives. If the correct province/state is not chosen during the order process and/or incorrect taxes are applied we will make the necessary corrections on your behalf and charge your credit card accordingly. 
 
Return Policy:
At Gourmet Gift Basket Store, your satisfaction is our top priority. If for any reason during the ordering, shipping or receiving of our gift baskets, gifts and/or balloons, you are not completely satisfied, please do not hesitate to contact us at once.

Each Webkinz is double checked when packaged to ensure the tag is attached. There are absolutely no refunds on Webkinz where the tag has been removed, opened or used for ANY reason.

Single gift basket orders, which are cancelled after they have been built are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Multiple orders which are cancelled after they have been built are subject to a 50% restocking fee.

Due to the nature of balloons, balloon orders, which have been inflated, are non-cancelable and non-refundable. 

All damaged shipments must be reported within 5 business days. We will make every effort to replace damaged items within this time, however we cannot be responsible for damage not reported within this time frame. Please keep all damaged merchandise and packaging as it may be requested by the carrier.

Any goods returned to Gourmet Gift Basket Store without prior authorization will not be refunded. The shipping costs of unauthorized returns will not be refunded. All goods authorized for return by Gourmet Gift Basket Store, must be in their original box and in good condition. No credits or replacements will be processed, until the returned merchandise is received by us. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

Due to government regulations all baskets shipped to the USA are non-returnable and non-refundable.

All orders cancelled after the credit card has been processed are subject to a $5.00 cancellation fee.

Holiday baskets which are returned to us, because we have been unable to deliver them for any reason are non-refundable.

Due to their nature, all holiday baskets, unless damaged, are non-refundable.

We reserve the right to change, amend, update or cancel this policy at anytime without notice. All orders are subject to our approval.
 
Shipping Policy:
Delivery-CANPAR
A majority of our shipping is done via CANPAR. Deliveries are made between 9 and 6 EST Monday to Friday. CANPAR does not allow time specific deliveries for either ground or SELECT shipments (eg. by 1pm). CANPAR does not phone to arrange deliveries for either ground or SELECT shipments. Delivery times (eg. 1 day) are estimates and are not guaranteed, unless SELECT shipping is chosen. SELECT service does not apply between December 19 and January 1. Shipment times reflect business days. Shipping to remote locations in Canada, may require more time and an increase in shipping costs. We will not be held responsible for delays due to weather or other acts of God.

Hospital/Retirement/Colleges/and the like

Gourmet Gift Basket Store will not be held responsible for baskets that have been delivered to shipping and receiving, but not forwarded to the patient/student/recipient by the accepting facility.

Non Delivery/Re-Delivery

If a recipient is not home when a gift is delivered, and it is a house or business, a note will be left on the door instructing the recipient to either call the number provided to arrange for delivery or to sign the note with instructions on where to leave the gift for a re-delivery attempt the following business day. Due to their nature, no such notice will be left at apartments or office buildings. After two attempts, the gift will be returned to us. We will inform you immediately for further delivery instructions. An extra delivery charge will apply. If we do not hear back from you within 2 weeks of our contact, your basket will be disposed of and no refund will be given.

Incorrect Address
If a basket is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by you, we will contact you immediately for a correction, and the package will be re-shipped at an additional shipping fee. If an address change request is made while the package is on route, an additional shipping fee of $5.00 will apply. It is the customer's responsibility to provide us with a complete and correct address. Please check your addresses carefully! (Including a daytime phone number where the recipient can be reached is highly recommended.)

NSR(No Signature Required)
We will, if requested by you, leave a gift on the porch or by the back door with a "NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED" sticker. However, we assume no responsibility for the package against theft, weather, or any other occurrence, once the package has been left in the requested location.

Delivery Tracking
As long as you provide us with a valid email address, you will receive a tracking number for your basket. Please go to www.canpar.com and enter this number to track your order. Gourmet Gift Basket Store can track your order for you for a $5 tracking fee per item.

Corporate Christmas Gifts - We specialize in creating Holiday corporate custom orders. If you are thinking of sending multiple corporate baskets to your customers this Holiday season, please contact us early to discuss availability and customization.

All prices are in CDN funds. If you are ordering early for a holiday gift, be sure to specify when you would like the gift to arrive. We cannot guarantee arrival times but will make every effort to meet all reasonable requests when possible.

We do request, however, that you allow two to four business days for production during the peak holiday seasons of Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Please place large orders early enough to allow for production and shipping to take place within this time frame.

Some substitutions of product may be required due to seasonal availability. All substitutions will be for products of equal or greater value. All chocolate products will be substituted in non-local orders during warm summer months.

We recommend that all orders be sent to a business address when possible so that the carrier may obtain a signature upon delivery of each parcel. In addition, all orders REQUIRE the recipient's telephone number to allow for address verification.


All transactions on this website are secured and encrypted using 128-bit security. All prices are in Canadian funds and we only ship within Canada.
